College Eligibility

In recognition for what these institutions have meant to me and my family, students who are enrolled or plan to enroll full-time at Warner Pacific University (Portland, Oregon), Pepperdine University (Malibu, California), Abilene Christian University (Abilene, Texas), Samford University (Birmingham, Alabama), and Emory University (Atlanta and Oxford, Georgia) are eligible to apply.

Student Eligibility

Students must hold at least a 3.5 grade point average in high school or college and are studying business, economics, or equivalent degrees of study. Students are eligible to apply each year from their incoming freshman year through their senior year. Each year the scholarship number and amount will be determined based on the eligible proceeds from the sale of Jennifer Davis’ book Well Made Decisions.

How to Apply

Enrollments are now being accepted. Applicants will fill out an online application through our partner bold.org’s website and submit a short essay summarizing their perspective on well-made decisions and their implementation. The first two recipients of the scholarship were notified in early 2022. We are currently aiming for another open application period in the summer of 2023 for awards in the fall.
